Walk by this place daily....St. John's Terrace Home..."Since 1899"
Never seen any movement inside except 1 dull light. Place doesn't look like it's been touched in decades. But, I've seen mail stop there, and there is that light...
Honestly it's creepy as hell. Anyone know what the deal is? Has it really been there since 1899? What's it like inside?! :o

Senior Assisted Living facility
St Johns Terrace Home, Inc. is an assisted living community, located in Jacksonville, FL 32205. Assisted living facilities provide care to elderly people who need help with daily tasks such as meal preparation, mobility, bathing or dressing. Assisted living centers do not provide housing for elders with severe medical conditions that require medical care and monitoring from a doctor or registered nurse. Assisted living offers intermediate care for individuals who cannot reside on their own in an independent living, but do not need the full-time health care services of a nursing home.
26 beds?
I believe this place went bankrupt a few years ago. A friend had to make new living arrangements for her dad rather abruptly.
It's sketchy as hell. There's definitely some activity inside, but otherwise looks ill-kept. Straight out of American Horror Story. You'd think if it was since 1899 there would be some history somewhere about it.
