Title: Need large piece of OLD window glass
Post by: Ralph W on December 16, 2013, 09:45:19 PM
Didn't know where else to post this...

I am rebuilding an old sash and the original glass didn't make it through the process. I don't have the exact measurements with me but it's from a one over one pretty close to 4 square feet (2X2). Does anyone have a source that won't force me to take out a second mortgage?  Thanks.

We may have a couple of old sashes that you can take the glass from.  PM me.

If you need an old part for a building check with Burkhalter Wrecking. They have a retail warehouse and have a lot of unusual things in stock. Note taken from buildings being demo'd.

The Burkhalter guys think that everything in their yard is made of gold.  At least by the prices they charge.

Call Victorian Antiques in Deland.  They are so reasonable that it's worth the drive.

I'll check my stash of old glass for you too.
