Hmm, they must only be looking at a small percentage of the overall population.  I wonder how bike share and mass transit usage break down along racial and economic lines.  Something tells me they probably don't align anywhere close.  I can see my retired dad catching a bus or train occasionally but no way in hell he's using bike share.

One other thing. It seems that alternative mobility advocates are becoming their own worst enemy. BRT vs LRT, Streetcar vs Bike Share, etc.? None of these things replace the other.  Instead, they all should be viewed as complementing each oter within an integrated regional transportation network.  We never really hear the road lobby pit road projects against one another.  Instead, they fight for all the funding they can get to build/widen as many highways as possible.
