Sights and scenes from this weekend's Green Lion Festival at Aardwold Brewing Company in San Marco. The festival was organized by The Florida Chapter of the US Green Building Association and designed to introduce people interested in a sustainable city to each another.

Thanks Metro Jacksonville for coming out and taking such great pictures and all you do for spreading the word about positive events that are moving Jacksonville forward! The U.S. Green Building Council North Florida Chapter was thrilled to put on the first annual Green Lion Festival and is excited to do it again in 2014. :)

The Green Lion Festival this weekend was amazing! Great groups, food, animal exhibits, and crafts, not to mention beer! Thanks Metro Jacksonville for doing a wonderful job covering this event.

Had the Groundation and the Belgian Tripel. Both were very good. The cheese that Sweet Grass Dairy paired w/ the brews was awesome too. Too bad they are in Tallahassee and Thomasville, respectively, and not in Jax -- though I understand GrassLands is hopeful of distribution to Jax one day and Sweet Grass cheese is apparently already on offer at the better establishments in our town...
