Title: San Marco is the best neighborhood in Jacksonville!
Post by: lindzeeluv on March 30, 2008, 03:03:31 PM
I live in San Marco and I just LOVE it.

All the cafes and shops and the really wonderful artsy fartsy people make it as close to Boston as I can find in Jacksonville.

My favorite cafes are Pizza Palace and The Neighborhood Market.

Cafe Carmon has sinful desserts and I have to avoid it, except when I don't!

There is a very cool club called Jackrabbit's right around the block from my house and I can walk from there to another cool little coffeehouse called Uncommon Grounds in 5 minutes.

All in all, San Marco is the place to be.

Welcome to the site lindzeeluv.  San Marco is a cool neighborhood.  If it wasn't for spots like it, I would have left town a long time ago.

San Marco is great.  I will be interested to see what impact the Kings Avenue Station project has on the area.  The hotel portion is scheduled to open next spring.
