Title: Extended Stays
Post by: KenFSU on July 30, 2013, 08:26:17 AM
Hi guys,

Does anyone have any suggestions for a clean, safe extended stay hotel in Jacksonville? I've got some coworkers in Orlando that are going to bouncing back and forth quite a bit for the rest of the year, but I'm just reading terrible things in the reviews for most of these places. Somewhere off of Butler or Beach would be preferable, but I would happily take anything clean and safe.

Thanks!

I'd recommend trying something like airbnb.com

Yes, I've stayed in that one several times and have no complaints other than one occasion where there was a cigarette burn in one of the blankets.

Didn't the one on Prudential just go through a pretty substantial renovation?

Not sure how many rooms you are looking for but often times I find decent rates and properties on vrbo.com

They don't always meet everyone's needs but I've seen some condos in the area on there.

My old company used to use Residence Inn behind Bonos/Black Creek Outfitters across from the Town Center.  No complaints.

It did; they were in mid-renovation last time I stayed there last fall.
