While seeking information on the state of the Jacksonville Animal Care and Control Center (JACC) and the city's failure thus far to build a new facility as mandated in the 2001 Better Jacksonville Plan, we naturally wanted to speak to someone in charge of that department for comment. That's a disgrace....there's just no getting around that!
This is just but a small sampling of the imperious nature of the administration of a spoiled little brat who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and fancies himself as living in a new gilded age of real estate mega-deals.
That sense of presiding over a "benevolent dictatorship" has infiltrated the entire administration, it is an adversarial "us against them" bunker mentality. The residents of the city of Jacksonville could not possibly understand what is best for them, because they do not have a vantage high enough to provide sight of the big picture.
Only a person who derives from such privilege could posses the requisite breadth of knowledge, vision and insight required for such an enormous task.
Unfortunately, as it turns out, he is an empty shell.
And a city attorney who feels his job is to defend his peers in city hall and not the people of Jacksonville.
I'm sure that the city attorney is being kept quite busy. The bumbling misdeeds of the present city administration would tend to enhance his job security.
