Pinegrove has the best breakfast-in-a-sack and steak-in-a-sack in town!
Their burger is amazing too ... http://bit.ly/122KXaa
Shrimp Po Boy! They only make them on Saturday and maybe Friday. Its delicious. Everything is fantastic though.
They service the cafeteria at the TU building on the river, if you can't make it into Riverside. Very good there too, and not much of a line these days, unfortunately.

Big fan of Pinegrove but I will say the steak-in-a-sack at Goal Post is very good as well.
Some of these smaller type places don't take debit or credit cards. Anybody know if Pinegrove accepts them or is it cash only?

They take credit.
After much deliberation, I would say the Cuban is better than the po boy. I love both and have had them each a dozen times, but Cuban gets the vote. I have never tried anything else on the menu, so I may branch out. I have had one bite of the Nader and it was great too.
Now that I know they are open until 6:30, I'm going to have to make some post-work trips
The Cuban is the bomb diggity. The shrimp on the shrimp Po Boy is great, but as a Po Boy it doesn't hold a candle to a "real" one. Definitely a good "shrimp sandwich" though.
I eat there once or twice a week for lunch, great club sandwich.
We recently tried the Cuban - they don't make it with Swiss cheese, but it was very tasty. Can't wait to try more of their dishes.

Fair enough. Delicious if not authentic.
Never been, but heard great things about this place. Thanks very much for posting this!!
Big fan of the original club and roast beef club.
