I'm all for ousting Councilman Don Redman outta office with his continuous antics like insulting a member of the LGBT during a meeting, and his latest, with the removing of concerts at Met Park failed proposal. I'm sick of these fuddy-duddies that wanna set Jacksonville back forty years. It's good to see progressive Jax revolt against Redman with a Facebook petition for his office removal.

We need people to run against these guys. Imagine how different things would be if we had just a few young, talented individuals on city council who werent beholden to developers, concrete companies or fuel companies, or well you get the point.
Redman is term limited. Getting him ousted would probably be just as time consuming as doing nothing and letting his term expire. IMO, frustrations should be targeted to finding the right candidate to run for council when his seat is up.
