Title: Where to Find Print Editions of Foreign Language Newspapers in Jax
Post by: PeeJayEss on January 23, 2013, 04:00:02 PM
Anyone know of a local newsstand that carries foreign language editions of foreign newspapers? I know Barnes and Noble typically has a bunch of dailies from around the country (or at least I think that) and maybe even a UK one like the Guardian/Telegraph, but it doesn't seem that they carry others. I am specifically looking for French language, so that could be Parisian (Le Monde, etc) or French Canadien (La Presse). Any ideas?

Hard to find...

I've found Mandarin newspapers and Hindi magazines, but I don't speak those languages.

Never found Le Monde or something similar.

Borders used to carry Le Monde, though that's obviously no help to you (or anyone) now.

Sorry!

Im sure you could find these papers online. Would be much more convenient than driving to a newsstand. Newspapers are as obsolete now as VCRs, 8 track tapes, and rotary telephones.  ;)

Only kidding. As outdated as newspapers are, its cool going to a store and finding out of town papers.
