EU Jacksonville presents this incredible article about Jim Draper on his new multimedia exhibit Feast of Flowers at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. The Feast of Flowers is an observation of an irony. It is a study of the Florida that existed before European influence and of the American culture that has continued the conquest of this natural paradise.

Jim is not only a superb painter but he is also one helluva guy. I hope the MJ'ers will go and support this event and keep in mind, as a painter he sells his works to make a living. I imagine most of the works on display are available.

As a painting myself, Jim has created one hell of a show.  Some of the most beautiful paintings I have seen in some time.
