Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a nail and tanning salon in the empty retail space at the Carling? I, for one, vote yes! I would also love to see a tiny version of either Winn-Dixie, Publix or even 7-Eleven occupy some of the ever-vacant area of that beautiful building. If we want people to continue moving into, rather than just moving through, our Urban Core, we need to provide them the amenities they seek. Same principle applies to 11 E. It was a very sad day when Starbucks left that buildiing.
