And, equally important, vinyl just SOUNDS better. Deeper, richer, that subtle echo that lets you know something is spinning around.

There was some kind of editing error that cut out a large portion of this article which I will include below. That error also likely rendered the original title of the article [Deep Search Records (or) Steve Zissou says go buy some vinyl!!!] confusing. Here's the remainder of the piece:

So all these rather jumbled thoughts lead us to the ultimate goal of this pieceâ€"Jacksonville now has a new, perfectly located record store in 5 Points. Deep Search Records is located off of Lomax. They opened on December 17 and are off to a great start. They offer a wide selection of new and used titles and the list is ever growing, as well as a selection of new and used  books. There seems to be a real adventurous spirit and a desire to think outside the box to be a viable and long lasting spot for your musical needs. They are located at 822 Lomax Street and are open Tuesday-Saturday 11-8 and Sunday 12-6; you can find them with a simple search on Facebook, or you can reach them at 904-423-0969 or deepsearchrecords@gmail.com . Make sure you check out the Grand Opening celebration Sunday January 20, 2013 from 12-10 that will include some killer Jax bands, beverages, and company. I am not gonna say that records will make you live longerâ€"but they will definitely make life cooler, so go by Deep Search. Show some love. Buy some records!
