Great news!
I wonder how Courtyard Cafe is doing....
Wonderful news. Please, oh please, don't change the facade of this amazing historic building with it's wonderful Masonic emblems and great brick patterns.

Wow, that's pretty cool. This is one of the best looking historic buildings remaining in downtown, in my opinion. I can't image they'd modify the exterior much, other than putting storefront windows back in.

Yeah they were right, that spot is ready to go. Just slap some windows in there. Im shocked no one else had not considered this building. To be honest, I had no idea it had build out for retail at the bottom. I just thought that was part of the design. Hey, dont judge me. I learn everything I know you MetroJax! ;D
^LOL. Yes, for decades this building's ground level was occupied by several businesses including jacksonville's first black owned bank, the Anderson Bank. Although this building is smaller and doesn't get the press of Klutho's St. James Building, I've always thought this Mark & Sheftall Prairie School structure is just as architecturally impressive.
Really nice old building. A good friend of my Mom had an office on the top floor of this building. I use to visit often. There is an auditorium on the top floor.
Great stuff. I love the homey and humble sounding name.
