Title: King and Park Updates
Post by: second_pancake on February 26, 2008, 02:29:12 PM
I saw people working on the new sushi restaurant last night, the Italian place looks ready to open, and City Cycle will be open for business tomorrow...at least that's the plan.  I guess that one is contingent on just how much work we get done tonight.

Oh, and whoever the guy was that stopped by to have Drew fix his bike tube and ended up giving him a cd of his band, you guys are freakin awesome!  I don't know your name, only that you play at the Burrito Gallery on occasion?  We were listening to you guys last night while hanging product.  Very cool.

Don't know, that's what I'm trying to find out.  It was like some kind of jazzy soul stuff...the music was real mellow with soulful vocals and repetitive lyrics.

Actually, the Itallian place has been open for a few weeks.  I went a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty good.  I would go back.

Really???  Hmm, then maybe that's not such a good sign that it looked to be closed every night I've been down there this week :-\

Drew won't open til Friday.  He put a sign in the window last night. Still a lot of work to do.  Still amazing that in less than 2 months, he completely demo'd the interior of that place, rebuilt it, cleaned and painted the entire exterior, and has moved an entire store worth of inventory.
