And basically it's Yule/Festivus/Saturnalia that we're more interested in, but we're calling it Christmas in our house.

My point is, we don't celebrate christmas for the religiosity, we celebrate it because we enjoy the time of year, enjoy giving and receiving gifts, spending time with each other, etc.
If that makes it Festivus or Yule, then so be it.
We still call it Christmas.
'Cause it's easier to say than Festivus. lol
Religious or not, humans have a need for celebration and remembrance. There are and have been seasonal holidays as well as celebrations and commemorations of birth, death, coming of age, marriage in every culture and for all of history. It's just part of what we are as social animals.
