Title: Jax 2025

Just wondering if you guys have seen this site and what's your thoughts about it.

QuoteJacksonville is our city, and soon it will be our children’s city. But the city we leave to our children will not be the same as the one we live in today. By 2025, the new and different will mix with the familiar and stable. We need to ask ourselves now whether we want to control our destiny or allow it to chance. Are we ready to address what is holding us back as a city? Are we ready to build on our successes, preserve what we love, and shape a shared vision that we all work together to achieve? JAX2025 is an initiative built on the belief that the answer is “yes” and that the time is now. Before we reach the year 2025, let’s step back, take a deep breath, and decide together what we want our city to be.

Oddly enough the survey was sent to me via the Jaguars. I think they were doing the survey at the game last week also.

Yes, I got one too through the Jaguars email list.

Run by JCCI.

Between the Council, the Chamber, DIA and JCCI, I am wondering if we have enough vision casting in Jacksonville? ;)

Ennis Davis is on the Jax 2025 steering committee....and several others posters, including myself, are also heavily involved.

The Jags are a major sponsor of the effort and devOted last week's game to promoting it.

Yes. Also, Metro Jacksonville ran an article on it a few weeks back and we have a link to the survey on one of our front page ad rotation slots.
