Title: Al's Pizza turns to Tacos
Post by: TheCat on December 11, 2012, 01:51:42 PM
Pizza and tacos seems to be our M.O.

QuoteThe owners of Al’s Pizza restaurants will open a taco-themed restaurant at the site of the recently-closed Sun Dog restaurant in Neptune Beach, the Jacksonville Business Journal reported Monday.

Is there a taco place in Neptune or Atlantic Beach? I'm sure there's not one in the Town Center now.

When you have a place that is as profitable as Taco Lu, you're going to get a few copycats.  Lu is serving a dollar's worth of ingredients for $5 and people love it.  Lola's tried their luck, Al's is trying theirs, and I'm sure we'll see a couple more before the new trend takes over. If we get a really successful and trendy noodle bowl place, you guys will soon be complaining about too many noodles in town.
