JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida Department of Transportation will go over their planned projects scheduled for the next five years at a public meeting December 10.
The projects presented will focus on the counties of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at Jacksonville's FDOT office located at 2198 Edison Avenue, at the corner of Interstate 10 and Stockton Street.
The FDOT said it must update its five-year transportation plan every year with projects requested by the public, local government, metropolitan planning organizations and resurfacing criteria.
FDOT will present the results to the Florida Legislature to obtain budget approval in 2013.

Oh boy the visionaries at FDOT are going to reveal their plan. I cant wait.
they do this every year. They pull their projects from the TPO's Long range Plan to be funded.
I was told the DOT now has a website for their work program.
D2WPPH.com
Even has a place for comments.
I've also heard that some districts are presenting their work programs as webinars...so you can just log in from work, home, or the coffee shop
D2WPPH.com wow that's easy to remember :-\
They do have a public comments page http://d2wpph.com/Public_Comments.php (http://d2wpph.com/Public_Comments.php) if you cannot make the meetings.
