Title: Zoning document: PSS targeted A.C. Skinner Parkway site
Post by: thelakelander on November 29, 2012, 05:56:01 PM
What many already had mentioned here.  PSS wasn't headed downtown.

QuoteWhile the impending sale of PSS World Medical likely affects the plans, the Jacksonville-based medical supplies company apparently has been considering moving its headquarters from Southpoint into a six-story building that would be built on 30.7 acres along A.C. Skinner Parkway.

I know that PSS's AC Skinner location isn't preferred by most, but atleast they are still in the city, and not Charlotte somewhere. To me that's truly the only thing that really matters, them still being in the city (I know that many disagree; DT or bust gotcha...). Isn't AC Skinner in the Southpoint area?

I don't think anyone was expecting to see PSS Medical leave town or would prefer them to go to Charlotte instead of down the street where they already are.  I know the reason I wrote my post the way I did is because the Parador Parking garage thing was being set up like PSS was possibly headed there (Suntrust Tower), when it couldn't be further from the truth.
