If you have no choice but to deal with Comcast, make sure you call every year or so to ask for promotional pricing. They'll usually lower your bill if you're not super habitual about asking for discounts. A quick phone call just got me $50 knocked off my cable & internet package for six months, and $30 knocked off for the six months after that. Plus, they added 72 additional channels as part of the deal. If they don't budge, try a different rep.

I removed my cable two month's ago and saved a butt load of money! I just don't watch TV anymore besides the shows I do watch are on ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS.
