I noticed last weekend that three of the four lights on the corner of Post and King are out. With as busy as that area is on the weekend that can make for a very dangerous situation. Even if they were all working I don't think that those historic style lights do a good job of lighting up the road due to their low height and the width of that intersection.
I tried to create an "issue" on the 630city.coj.net site but I am not doing something right because I cannot find where to put in a street light request. Can someone suggest the best way and the needed information to contact the city and so I can let them know these lights need the bulbs changed or fixed.?

Thanks. I checked JEA's site too but I didn't see the link.
How about the ENTIRE Commodore Point Expressway, on a dark or rainy night it is almost impossible to see exits for Emerson, or University, or to see anything or anyone crossing the street. While I understand 'light pollution,' this is about safety. The city needs to have all of it's EXPRESSWAY'S under lights.
I've used that JEA streetlight form before, and I must say they were VERY prompt in getting the light I reported fixed. Their estimate was within 2 business days, it was done on the third. Not bad.
Agreed, JEA is usually VERY quick to relamp street pole lights, that said, I still wish our right-of-way lighting was LED.
Just learned from some most intriguing FDOT folks that often times light repairs must be coordinated with JSO if lane closure is necessary.
Having assisted in the redesigned GUI and creation of their CBT for JEA's inbound call newhires (many years ago) , any CONTACT US area of any page of the JEA website will lead you to the online reporting system.
Additionally, IF AND ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE EXACT, PRECISE POLE #, full street name, etc.,
A friendly, thankful email to 630city@coj.net may help
As a resident of our promising town, I am happy to know that so many of us work together to keep our streets lit as best we can!
Ps, the 630city@coj.net "Ecare" email system is extremely helpful in reporting everything from pot holes, malfunctioningtraffic signals, fallen/ dead trees, you name it!
