The plan calls for creating a Tri-Rail system with four separate lines by 2014, between Jupiter and Miami. The estimated capital costs are $272 million.

Yellow Line - Magnolia Park/West Palm Beach to Miami Airport on existing Tri-Rail/CSX corridor. This line will be served by 24 weekday trains and 18 stations.
Blue Line - Magnolia Park/West Palm Beach to downtown Miami. The line will branch over to FEC's tracks in Pompano Beach and stop at 20 stations between downtown Pompano Beach and downtown Miami.
Red Line - This FEC corridor line would have six weekday trains serving 18 stations between Jupiter and downtown Miami.
Green Line - The line would connect downtown Fort Lauderdale with downtown Miami. There would be a total of 10 stations and 26 weekday trains. Studies indicate this line would attract most riders.

Miami is really steppin up the transit. That region should be primed to significantly densify in the comming years.
