Anyone know where I can buy some??? See them everywhere and it's about time I picked some up for myself.
The only ones I have seen (I <3 Jax) are from River City Church. I attend that church and they are a very young and civic and urban minded church. They used to meet off of McDuff at the City Rescue Mission, but they outgrew that space. Currently they meet on the Southside, but they are looking to move back to the North Riverside area very soon. For the next two months they are having weekly meetings (It's church, but it's hard to call it that. it's more of a discussion. They call it The Life Course) at Intuition Ale Works. Every Tuesday at 7 pm go to the brewery bar for a free beer (on the Church's tab) and some life lessons. I missed last week, but I'll be there tomorrow. If anyone asks, you can tell them David Paulk sent you.
Sorry for the potential thread de-rail, but they are seriously the only people I know with I love Jax stickers. Theirs are about 3 inches by 3 inches square with I and a heart on the top line and Jax on the bottom. In tiny text I think it says www.rccjax.com, but you can't see it unless you're a foot away from the sticker. If you have seen different ones then I don't know where to get those.
PS- They will have plenty of stickers tomorrow night for free.
PPS- I'm pretty sure at least a half dozen people on the forum are from River City Church.

The church has been doing a program called The Life Course twice a year for the past 3 or 4 years. The program is designed to be an informal setting to discuss Christianity and its relevance to today's world. It is intended to be for people who don't regularly attend church or those that may not believe or are against christianity. There's no alter call, no snake charmers, no pointy hats. It's just a group of people who come together to talk through some things and learn from eachother. In an effort to make attendees feel comfortable and to reduce the stuffiness that sometimes comes with 'church', RCC is willing to pay for one beer.
If this isn't for you, that's cool. I do apologize that DVI, Visit Jax, the city, the chamber, or any of the other groups paid millions to promote the city didn't think of the stickers. A church made the stickers, so that's that. I'd be happy to meet up some other time and get you a few stickers if you'd like.
I have no problem with that kind of meeting. I'll try to make it...not so much for the content, but for the beer/meeting people/free stickers. If I can't, I'll PM you Zissou and maybe meet up later in the week.

I'm sure they did think of something similar, however, it's a pretty blatant trademark infringement of "I Love NY", and New York State spends a ton of money every year to defend their registered trademark.

Looks like 4-7 year olds everywhere need to be on high alert. They have been seen emblazoning everything they can think of with the stolen "I heart_____ " copyrighted material. SWAT teams are probably setting up stings on playgrounds everywhere trying to catch these perps in the act.
I picked up about 30 of the stickers last night. If you don't PM me, i'll bring them next week to the weekly meeting at Pizza Palace.
