Cafe Nola already has small planter boxes on the roof of Moca that they use for menu items.
Think about having 5-6 downtown restaurants sourcing ingredients FROM downtown. Talk about a unique branding opportunity!
That's pretty cool. I'd like to see pictures of it to get a better idea of how it looks/works.
I agree that it could be a really unique idea... and it could turn into a real moneymaker for someone who was willing to give it a shot.

This is very cool!!! :)
Ya just gotta wonder about pigeon's in downtown window boxes, passing along the gift of Salmonella. Pigeons commonly carry salmonella, and they can apparently pass that vile germ or any of 2,000+ designer strains of it, on to us through urine, poo, feathers, even dust. Apparently pigeons have the ability to carry the bacteria for a very long time sharing it with everyone - INCLUDING through air pollution.

I wouldn't worry about that any more than I'd worry about salmonella from poultry.
