Warm and dry again this morning but the afternoon could be stormy again. Temps today are in the low 90's. Heather Zehr says Saturday and Sunday should be dry and hot with temps approaching the mid-90's.

Our Top Local Story: Proving once again the economy will be a big campaign issue, President Obama hammers on jobs and government spending in his Jacksonville stop. Obama called for tax breaks for these middle class citizens during his campaign stop and a hike on people making more than 250 thousand dollars a year.
Vocal opponents say four more years of Obama would be awful for the country. They argue Mitt Romney would help turnaround the ailing economy and get control of the deficit.
An update to breaking news on the westside where a person is shot twice outside the Oaktree Apartments on Lakeshore Boulevard. We're told the victim was rushed to Shands hospital. No word on the victim's condition.
Admitting mistakes. Florida State College at Jacksonville President Steve Wallace admitted he could have spent less. Wallace disputed their total amount of his spending, but said the point of their coverage is valid. He said the total of his costs was too high, but his expenses were legal and justifiable.
Florida taxpayers could be on the hook for more than a million dollars to one elected official in Jacksonville. If Duval County Clerk of the Courts Jim Fuller wins a fourth term, he would earn about half a million in state retirement benefits, in addition to more than half a million in total salary. As the Times Union reports, Fuller is enrolled in a state program that allows pension payments to be paid in a lump sum upon retirement. But a recent Supreme Court ruling that imposes term limits on constitutional officers could prevent Fuller from winning another term.
An attempted robbery lands two men in jail -- and one officer on administrative leave. Jacksonville Police say John Spalding and Victor Mackey entered the Riverside Walgreens on Park and King late Wednesday. Officers caught Mackey as he was leaving out of the front of the store but Spalding ran to the back while firing his gun. Officer Gerald Medlock shot three times at Spalding as he left the building. Spalding was not hit but immediately surrendered.
We're expecting an update this morning on a deadly police shooting in Putnam County. Police shot and killed 35 year-old Alfred Dobson at a home in Pomona Park around 9 last night. Police were investigating a disturbance call at a home. It's unclear what led to the shooting. FDLE is now leading the investigation.
He beat a driver with a baseball bat at a stop light in Jacksonville last year. For his crime, Attila Makranczy faces several years in prison. He was just convicted of criminal mischief and battery on a person older than 65. Cops say he beat a 69 year-old with a bat after the driver cut him off in traffic.
With a spike in tuberculosis cases among the homeless, a strike team is getting ready to hit the streets and test the homeless for TB. Florida Surgeon General John Armstrong telling a roundtable discussion health officials have found a small cluster of patients with TB. So far, there have been 39 cases of TB this year.
