Trying something new... a 'lunch mob' next Wednesday July 18th at the King Street Farmers Market. King Street Farmers Market's theme is '->buy LOCAL eat<-' and that fits Jax Cash Mob's goals like a glove.
We'll meet at noon, grab lunch and check out all of the local vendors.
You have two lunch options at the King Street Farmers Market: Corner Taco and Salty Fig... two really great food trucks that source locally as much as possible and take great care to prepare really high quality meals.
There are quite a few quality vendors at the KSFM selling everything from great veggies, handmade soaps, baked goods, breads, etc. Additionally, Riverside Antiques Market is open and is another great local business to check out.

Thanks for letting us know about this event. I attended with a co-worker and we really enjoyed the food from Salty Fig. Also, we enjoyed looking around at the offerings from the local vendors.

I had the Intuition beer braised pork belly sandwich from Salty Fig and a swordfish taco with roasted tomato and fennel from Corner Taco and both were outstanding.
Wound up buying some vegetables, jalapeno cheddar bread, homemade pickled okra, fig preserve and some cookies (which I wound up giving away at my office).
Great day for the market, 43 net new customers and almost $900 in sales from just cash mobbers (about $20 per person).
