Question:
Who is the Jaguars most hated rivalry of all time?
Option 1: Tennessee Titans
votes: 16
Option 2: Baltimore Ravens
votes: 1
Option 3: Indianapolis Colts
votes: 4
Option 4: Houston Texans
votes: 2
I decided to start a fun topic to take a break from all the off season garbage. I actually would rank the Titans and Ravens #1. We all hate the Titans for the same reason, but there is always some underlying anger when we play the Ravens. From inception, we upset Baltimore by getting an expansion team, and they have been upset and pissed ever since. I was very satisfied when we put the nail in their casket on MNF 2011.
Before the NFL rearranged the divisions, the Jaguars seemed to have a couple of good rivalries with the Steelers (another river city), and the Browns (the mistake on the lake)

I dunno.. The Ravens are the only ones from the AFC central that I hate. The Steelers... Meh they okay. I dont hate them much. And the Browns make me sick. Everytime I see their uniforms I think about shit (I dont know why). Their team is so unappealing. Even when the Jags are doing bad, atleast we have cool colors and a nice logo. LOL
PS. "mistake on the lake" .... I am dying over here. ;D

Hey, DD!
The Ravens make me sick, too. (Can you say Ray Lewis?)
Never thought about the Browns uniforms that way, but you make an excellent point. I guess the Browns decided to color their uniforms to reflect the city they represent.

Now now lets be nice :)
^ As dirty as the St. Johns River might be, at least it never caught on fire! ;D
I'd say it's a close race between Pittsburgh and Tennessee.
Was this article stolen from Big Cat Country? Anyway I say the Colts. Key word is Hate.
"What do you think about this weeks game down in Jacksonville coach?"
Sportscaster
"Hell, I don't even know where Jacksonville is."
Denver Broncos
Hate -Steelers, Colts, Texans. Strongly dislike - Titans, Ravens, Saints
Ock - to be fair, it wasn't Shanahan's fault that he didn't know where Jacksonville was. That comes from decades of City Hall incompetence, leaving the city in perpetual mediocrity and resulting obscurity.
Anyway...my hatred for the Titans is eternal. However, the Texans...who've been good for a SINGLE SEASON, have the most smug and annoying fans (the ones that post comments on nfl and espn dots-com), plus "Battle Red Day" is an obvious provocation on the part of the owners. So those two do it for me.
Got to be the Titans. Remember Fishers comment we are like their "home field"!
I posted a similar, relevant comment on Wacca's FB page:
Do we really 'hate' the Titans or was it just Jeff Fisher?
For me personally it was the coach. His cockiness and smugness and the fact that he owned JDR - didn't sit well with me. I now have a strong disliking of the Rams. ;)

I sure did. And?
Tossup between the Colts and the Titans for me. I still hate the Steelers too.
I don't hate the Steelers can't say the same thing for their fans though ugh!!
Hell I dont understand why the Ravens are on the list. I always respected the Ravens and the Colts. To Me Tony D and Peyton Manning were class acts. Titans I hate for a few reasons, mainly because of 99, I hate the Patriots also the team we have seen many times in the playoffs and only beat them once. I will always hate the Cowboys because of their fans and their owner. Steelers have annoying fans also. The Patriots have done way more serious damage than the Ravens did to the Jags.
Gotta go with the Titans, but as others have eluded to, it's more of a Jeff Fisher thing. That and the Steelers are not part of the poll: hate me some Bill Cowher.

The Ravens are not about how what has happened on the field, but the fact that they talk about us like a dog and have ALWAYS disrespected us. Thats why I dont like them. When we played them last year, I was on their website and we were referred to as their "expansion debrie" rivals that never deserved a team. I dont respect anyone who holds on to 17 year old garbage. Thats why I dont like them. However, I actually hated the colts because they were good, but I miss playing Peyton Manning already. I loved the competition.

Maybe it really was a geography failure, but he lit a fuse that he couldn't extinguish and our Jag's handed the Broncos their asses in one of Denver's worst defeats ever.
I don't recall which of our players it was, but at the end of the nationally televised game, he grabbed the microphone and yelled, "Hey coach, do you know where Jacksonville is now!" Absolutely priceless.

Oh yeah! I think that was the most epic game ever! To make it even better, I seen articles from Denever's newpaper before that game saying saying "who does these up starters think they are? ", etc etc. So to hand them their asses was priceless indeed. Weve actually have handed a few teams their asses. Maybe people dont like us because we have the ability to embarass them at any given moment? Who would have thought that on our worse year we would have socked it the ravens like that? People overlook the fact that we were moving the ball against a top defense. It didnt equate to TD's, but they fact were able to get down the field said alot. And had MJD and Lewis not had butterfingers that night, it would have been 20-7.

As much as I'd like us to all pat ourselves on the back for these 'big' wins. Let's think about all the times that we were poised to take the division/conference, only to lose 2-3 of the 'gimme' games. If I had one thing to criticize my Jags about it would be that we always play to our opponents level - good or bad.

Eagles, Browns, & Packer fans are even worse :)
49ers fans are in an annoying class of there own. They're not crude & boorish like Eagles & Browns fans, but they're so stuck up and act as if the 49ers are God's gift to football - never mind the NFL.
Sorry, I know this is about Jaguar rivals but your comment made me think of other nasty NFL fans :) :)
