Anyone know of 6000-9000 sf buildings in/around Main St/Springfield area?Looking to find a space for a bakery...not looking for some huge redevelopment project, just something that could be adapted to that kind of use with relative ease.
I understand Julie's Urban Grocery won't open after all as planned. I believe you can contact 3rd and Main Realty for info about it. If not, someone will probably post a correction shortly, if I know my Springfield peeps. :-) There is also a former restaurant building at 6th and Pearl. I don't know if the owner would want to sell. It was on the market a couple of years ago, and I don't know its current status, but I'm told it used to be a restaurant.

The building that Julie's was going in is a little over 4k square feet. So not sure if that would work.
I used to have a list of all the buildings on Main Street and their info. Let me see if I can dig it up. If not, there are some board members of SAMBA that I'm sure would be happy to help you. The building at 4th and Market that was The Native is a thought. Don't know how big it is and of course it isn't Main St but before they closed their plan was to open a bakery in that spot on the corner.
Also at 6th and Market, that building just came back on the market. Again, don't know the size but I think it used to be a grocery back in the day.
9th & Main.
There's few spaces of that size on Main Street that don't need significant renovations.
