I wonder how many traders would be diagnosed as clinically addicted to such high risk deals and should we be spending more time on preventing what happened in our not so far past. Seems like nothing is being done.

Read 'Den of Thieves' by James Stewart. Addiction may be a good word for it.

Incidentally, a lot of these guys (the Siegels, for one) who got into these trading fiascos now live in Jax/PVB.
