Title: Jazz Fest VIP tickets - question about access
Post by: 5pointy on May 20, 2012, 05:46:17 PM
Thinking about purchasing one of the preferred seating tickets for this year's Jazz Fest. The web site makes it clear that it is "first come, first served", and that seating is not guranteed. Also, outside chairs are prohibited in the Preferred Seating area -- so I am wondering what is the chance that those areas fill up? Would hate to spend $70 for the day, be shut out of the VIP area, AND not have a chair with me...

Anyone have experience with getting and using these tickets? Does the event typically sell more VIP tickets than they have seats for ?

We could always just haul all of the furnishings from Hemming Plaza over so we could offer a few more seats to us 'desirable' folks.

Stephen, thanks for the reply. Just what I needed to know.
