Good to see that Springfield has cleaned up.
did that sign really say "pastor's motorcycle parking"?
Awesome! What a cool use of space.
I guess pastor's arent allowed to ride motorcycles huh?
Sweet. I just sold a house two doors down and this makes a nice block even better.
Not sure that it was technically speaking a "vacant lot", however.

Good to see that Springfield has cleaned up.
Speaking of which, there's a Neighborhood Clean Up this Saturday (5/12), 10am, meeting at 8th & Perry Streets.
This month we'll be cleaning up 8th Street, one of the most traveled, and yet most neglected, avenues in SPR. Heading West to East on 8th, trash & litter will be main focus with a little bush/tree trimming too. Bring gloves, trash bags and h20 will be provided by SPAR.
Thanks!

Well it wasn't really vacant, it used to be their basketball court ... but that had an unused, seedy look to it. Love the new arrangement, and yes that sign did say motorcycle parking. Pastors Ham and Vicki are wonderful people who try their best to keep the neighborhood lifted ... and this just shows that a small group of people (the congregation at the church was under 15 last time I stopped by) can change Jacksonville one garden at a time.
