From the Daily Record today:
El Ad Florida, owners of the AT& T Tower, soon to be renamed EverBank Center, announced that Nature’s Table Café will operate and manage the refurbished restaurant and café space on the second floor of the Downtown building at 301 W. Bay St. The projected opening date is Sept. 1. El Ad Florida said it will invest more than $1 million in the café refurbishment in anticipation of the relocation of EverBank’s 1,600 employees from the suburbs to the tower. El Ad said Orlando-based Nature’s Table operates more than 75 locations in 12 states.

$1 million in refurbishment? Man, is the cafe' in that bad of shape?
yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Hope they at least try and make it visible from the outside.
^DVI, the city, et al should be all over them about that. If they're spending the money they should at least make it so that people know it's there.
That space is set up like a food court. This sounds like they're converting it into a single restaurant. I agree with everyone about making it visible from the street.
Anyone know what's moving and shaking next to Olio?
And +1 to all the comments saying this new place in the tower needs visibility.
Glad someone is moving into downtown, though. Great news.
^^it looks like some sort of antique store.
Whatever happened to the restaurant that was supposed to open up on Bay Street between Mark's and the tattoo shop? I'm guessing that fell through.

I don't want to get anyone excited, and I could be 10000% wrong, but for the past 2 weeks, I've seen multiple people wearing Black Hog Farms T-shorts hanging out since and outside the place next to Olio. NO idea what's going on.

I think that one is dead. He took his money to Five Points.
An antique shop on E. Bay... That would seem kinda odd and out of place. Better than an empty storefront though I guess.
Maybe American Pickers is expanding again like they did in Nashville!

Took his money to 5 Points and did...what?
Black Hog Farm is using that space downtown to pack produce for deliveries. They usually use space at Intuition but that space is getting too small because of all the great things going on there.
Had lunch at Olio today. Did not notice anything unusual at the space next door, the owner is using it as storage for his collection of "stuff." Black Hog has signs up and has papered over the space next door to NORTHSTAR Brick Oven Pizza, so the question is "What is going on inside there?"

You guys are talking about Underbelly. They're moving into the former Ivy space, next to NorthStar Pizza. They have a pig for logo.
What steps will they be doing to let people know they're there? Would they even be allowed exterior signage? Something tells me no.
Yeah, like Bill said, that's Underbelly's spot now. We've talked about that a while ago. Aren't they due to open in a month or so if not sooner?
^Hopefully, as they've started booking shows for next month.
Underbelly and Black Hog Farms are using very similar logos.........................
Will Underbelly have food, or will NorthStar provide carry in service?
I understand that Underbelly's planning a limited food menu and beer & wine. They'll mostly be a concert venue though, a much anticipated development for our downtown.

No way dude! That extremely similar pig silhouette is totally facing the other direction.

This sounds like 1904 too.

I read that the pig was in reference to a BBQ item that will be featured on Underbelly's menu... A specialty item created by one of the owners.
