Time to start a new thread. With Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell, we had Thunder and Lightning. With Laurent Robinson and Justin Blackmon as our two new wide recievers its time to come up with nicknames before the lamestream media does. So here is my entry.

Robinson/Blackmon=R&B=Rythym and Blues

That's not bad, but I'm gonna let us win a few games through the air before I start worrying about nicknames. 

And no, I'm not a Debbie Dashing Dan Downer, I just want to see production first.  I will say - I absolutely loved the move and think it's going to pan out, I just want to see it in February.   ;)

I agree NRW. I am thrilled though. Robinson suceeded in dallas because he had other receivers drawing defenders away from him. He has that in Blackmon now. They are going to have their eye on him 95% of the time. I think we may have a match up nightmare for opposing defense. And with the schemes Mularkey runs in his offenses, this may work out very well. He does not assign his receiver positions or give them n umbers. Because the way the offense is set up, if they see a possiable weakness or mismatch, everyone may shift spots at the last minute to expose it.

All these guys have shown for the Jags is that we are willing to throw money at them. I can do the same with some secret service call girls. Show me they can win games for me before I give them street cred.

Well, we can always have some duo nicknames on standby should they actually produce..

"Blackmon and Robin(son)"

Nicknames?? Seriously??  We barely know the names their mother gave them...

Don't worry, you can get me back when I start running off at the mouth about playoffs when we're 3-0. 

Although, you'll probably have had a few weeks worth of practice after DD08 starts the same thread at 1-0.   ;D

Yes lets win a few games first. Could be bust and bust, but I hope not. Looking forward to the upcoming season.
