Title: Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen
Post by: richard wright on April 15, 2012, 10:27:46 PM
I'm Richard Wright.  I teach music in the public school system and I play bass locally in a commercial pop group called "Ain't Too Proud To Beg".   My wife and I have lived in Springfield for the past 8 years.  I've lived in Jacksonville off and on for 45 years.  I've seen the city evolve and I have many a' story of "how it used to be".  I love living in Springfield.  My father and his family lived and died here.  It holds many memories of my childhood, stories from my Dad, and questions of how the city looked and operated 100 years ago.  I hope to be a part of the revitalization of Springfield and the downtown area.  To make the urban core of Jacksonville the great city that it once was and restore the city on the banks of the St. Johns as the gateway to Florida.
