Post by: Lunican on January 13, 2008, 04:02:35 PM
Although there is no timeline for this project, a slick video was produced to promote it.

To think the shipyards could be finished but Mayor Delaney wanted to fight over how $20,000 of the money was going to be spent.

Wow, that video shows how Jax's skyline could be positively affected. I agree with Jason...just build the damn thing!

This is a video of the old site plan.  They are scaling back the size of the project and turning it into a midrise community.

No more glass towers. I hope they don't do midrange stucco buildings. I am tired of those popping up everywhere. I also hope they leave room to build the glass towers in the future, if need be. I see theya re currently building the riverwalk, bulkhead, public park area first. That is a good idea. Maybe they will face some of their retail towards the riverwalk. Wouldn't that be visionary?

Building it out OVER Bay and back to the River would be cool too
Or swinging the Skyway off of Bay and through the building. IF the over bay or Skyway
section had the Skyway coming through it and was the Retail
and restaurant Anchor of the buildings, it would be freaking awesome
