Title: Further discussions on moderation and civility
Post by: Kaiser Soze on April 02, 2012, 11:08:42 AM
Stephen gets angry at me and threatens to delete my posts when I call someone a jackass.

Stephen refers to someone as a Klansman.  That's OK.

hmm.  are you complaining because you post didnt get deleted?

actually, the rule is direct namecalling, Kaiser.

You can suggest that someone is sounding like a jackass, but you cannot call them a jackass directly.

You know.  Civility. ;)

And welcome to Zebulon Beta.
Wow, I expected a better explanation than that.  Pretty lame.  Keep on keeping on with your double standard.

hmm.  seems like definition week here at metrojacksonville.

todays word:  Double Standard.

Those are our rules, kaiser.

Its not the times union, you can't simply call people names all day long and pretend to be posting.  Im sure you will figure out how to work within the guidelines, you seem like such a clever individual.  I have faith in you.
Again, pretty lame.  I guess I need to use a generous number of smileys and say things like "anyhoo" for my posts may be considered clever.  Or just be a flat out smart ass.   Either way, your definitions of cleverness and civility differ greatly from my own.
