Beautiful area. Really a model of what Jacksonville can do in any number of locations.
Jacksonville was settled officially in 1832, and New Orleans had been settled way earlier in 1718. So that gives NO a good 114 year head start. Jax will come around, eventually.
The warehouse district in NO is much newer than 1832. The area was deserted for a while after ship freight shifted to containers, but new uses have been coming into that area for decades.
Well thats all well and good, but the critical question is did the companies renovating the warehouses maintain the original windows?
