Title: mothballing 101: faux-ing the sashes
Post by: sheclown on February 01, 2012, 06:11:03 PM
As part of the anti-blight component to mothballing, the JHPC requests that the boards, painted black, also include a "faux" sash, and we tackled this task today.

We used tape to measure out where we believe a sash would be located

And then painted inside the lines.

We hope that it adds that extra touch to Walnut Court which says "This Place Matters"

Now all you need is a leg lamp a la Christmas Story.

All kidding aside, very nice!

TaDa!

The lower "faux sash" looks just like the upper "for real sash."  (from a distance).
