The house is currently receiving rolling fines of $250 per day. And after years of stripping anything with paint...

has given up. "If I had $250 a day, I could fix the house up!"
by the way....code popped him for this new roof.

Only it isn't a NEW roof. They cleaned off the old roof, sanded the rust, coated it with primer and then painted it with silver paint.

Attached is taken from Wayne Wood's book on architectural history, note the house is given 2 stars. The top is 4 stars, but for instance the Woman's Club building is one star

from Chris Farley who is helping Preservation SOS research properties up for mothballing.
A shame to fine a house like this $250 a day -- 'cuz we all know where THAT leads.
