Title: Anyone know a good shoe repair?
Post by: ben says on January 17, 2012, 06:34:41 PM
Random question, don't know where else to go: does anyone's gf/wife/significant other know of a good shoe repair store?

There's a place on Laura Street - right between Chamblin's and Magnificat, across from the old Snyder Church.  My wife has taken her shoes there several times and they've done a great job, I would highly recommend them.  I'm kind of embarrassed that I can't think of the name of the place, though...

There's a place at Baymeadows and Southside that my wife has had good experiences with in the past few years. I believe it's in the Publix shopping center.

Garrison's shoe repair at 9719 San Jose has done about three pairs of serious hiking boots for me; and a few pairs of foo-foo shoes.  They have some bad reviews online, but their repairs have held up and the price was fair to me.

Ajax,

I believe that is Gus's Shoe Repair.  I would recommend them as well, they did a spot on job with mine, at a good price.

Gus's has been in business downtown for decades.  Highly recommended and used by all of the lawyers wearing expensive wingtips.

There used to be a truck that came around (10-15 years ago) in the Baymeadows area called "Heels on Wheels" - do they still exist?
