November has always been one of my favorite months; it's filled with frosty days and overzealous, premature Christmas merchandising, and Charlie Brown specials, and fried turkey and pies, many, many pies, and the hopes of a majestic, magical winter. And from our earliest days in school we have always been urged to reflect on the things that we are thankful for. Usually these revolve around family, friends, loved ones ... basically, RELATIONSHIPS! It's that thought, if you will, that has me wrapped around its proverbial finger.

Today I strolled down "A" dock at Lambs Yacht Center,Jacksonville Marina Mile on the Ortega river with a fellow Jacksonville Boating enthusiast.Brilliant sky,water reflections.
A bit later, a boat passed by,music PUMPED UP,the liquid enhanced reverb felt many feet away on board a 44 foot Gulfstar Yacht. in some settings the event would have been considered Intrusion,but somehow in this setting,coupled with actually Really Good Tunes,the event was cause for joy.......a bit saddened as the Volume diminished as the PUMPEd UP headed out to the big river,although I did wonder about the Pump Up effect on the water world below the surface........River Dance........imagine a scatter of critters.....or fish,crabs and eels dancing together
Looking forward to PUMPED UP effects land side.
CoRK Arts District. 2nd phase opens in 2 weeks. To clarify, the arts district will include musical arts also. Paul is right, its about BUILDING. And it's building at CoRK, at the brewing district.
Underbelly is sorely missed.
