100 Homes Jacksonville is a community-wide effort to house 100 of Jacksonville’s most vulnerable homeless citizens. This action is a collaborative effort by non-profit organizations, private business owners, government entities, and concerned citizens. On November 14th, 100 Homes Jacksonville will launch Registry Week, a week long initiative to survey and identify homeless citizens in downtown Jacksonville. The information collected will be used to create a prioritized list for housing. Units and services have already been secured for the homeless with the most urgent needs.
We are in need of community volunteers to help us survey the homeless population. There are two opportunities to volunteer.
Street team: Nov 14th-16th, 4:00-6:30am. Individuals will form teams and survey individuals in the downtown area.
Jail team: Nov 14th-Nov 16th, 8:00am-10:30am, Individuals will work within the downtown jail to ensure that incarcerated homeless individuals are surveyed and included in Registry Week.
There is a mandatory training on Nov 13th from 1-4pm at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Jacksonville. This location will serve as our Headquarters for the week.
Additionally, there will be a Community Conversation held on Nov 18th from 1-3pm at the AT&T Auditorium at 301 West Bay Street. The purpose of this meeting is to announce the findings of Registry Week to the community and reveal our plan to house the individuals identified through the surveys.

That's great! Where are these homes located? Are they SFR or multifamily?
100 Homes Jacksonville is a fantastic opportunity for the city and its residents.
THIS is how we handle the situation properly and with care for all involved.
I will be out of town for the survey, but I encourage everyone who has the opportunity and time, to get involved.
Downtownjag - housing will most likely be multifamily, scattered through out Jacksonville.
Awesome ESHC!!
I just signed up.
