I am on my 2nd order of da chomp burger. Man this place is great!
Where EXACTLY is it? Are they still open? LOL
Adams Street, between Burro Bar and Icon Boutique.
Actually, duvaldude, they WERE still open when you posted - 6 pm to midnight on Thursdays and 6 pm to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Planning to open for lunch in a few weeks.
Went with a crowd Friday night and we all had something great - ban mi, chicken satay, spring rolls, burger, curry. Everything on the menu is just $6.
This little corner downtown is feeling alive - people hanging out, walking by, music from Poppy Love Smoke. Makes you feel like something good is coming....
Can't wait to try it

Yeah, if only something would finally happen with the HB library building. I'm getting tired of being teased. :(
is there a website? Like to see a menu.

What's going on with that building? Seems like the owner is paralyzed...
No menu or website yet, but this is the closest I could find to a menu:

It's getting favorable reviews:

Actually address is 106 Adams Street E.
I talked with Ian Last night, awesome dude as well.
This place is outrageously good. I only wish they were open more nights. I'd bike up there all the time. I understand why they don't, though.
Duvaldude, it's on Adams just east of Burro Bar and next to the clothing store and Poppy Love Smoke.

I could not find it! Strange thing is, when Im not trying to find Burro bar and Poppy Loves Smoke, I always passed by. Now that I am looking for them, I could not find them. FML LOL
Adams St between Ocean St and Newnan St. Directly across the street from the building that was the library before the HB library. It's in a space that was the kitchen of the London Bridge when it was open. It's tiny and not very well marked yet.
Righ Hurr..

6PM-2AM Thurs, Fri, Sat
Went there tonight. F'ing fantastic. Great spot for downtown, and Jax in general. I hope they expand their hours.
These guys are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays (11am-2:30pm), Thursdays (11am-10pm), Fridays (11am-2am) and Saturdays (6pm-2am). I just stopped in and had a Chomp Burger. It's one of the best I've had in town.
Here's their regular sandwich menu:
Banh Mi: French Vietnamese sandwich with marinated pork and pickled vegetables $7
Panko Crusted Chicken: with gorgonzola and marinated tomatoes $7
Chinois Tacos: pork, sauteed cabbage, cilantro, carrots, and red onion $7
Jerk Chicken sandwich: served with grilled pinapple and a carrot cucumber slaw $7
BBQ pork: with a mustard sauce $7
Grilled portabella: stuffed with fresh mozzarella and roasted red pepper $7
Chomp Burger: lettuce, tomato, and jack cheese $7
The bahn mi and panko chicken are both very good values.
How are these guys doing? Been there a few times recently, looked dead every time. I bet they can't wait for the 1,000+ EverBank employees to get downtown.
Chomp chomp rocks. Whenever we've gone it's been pretty dead but they were doing a decent carry out business. The guys there say they do a pretty good business late night.
I went last night and it was packed. Got the curry chicken stir fry... wasn't all that good. I was a little confused on the menu so I just ordered something familiar. However, I will be back and probably ordered something that you all have recommended
I picked up the wife for lunch last week from her office, ordered take out that was ready in 8 minutes from calling in, and had a "picnic" near the Riverwalk.
I had the Chicken Bahn-Mi special and she had the Chicken Tacos....both outstanding.
I noticed their flyer says delivery coming soon, should definitely help their volume.
Sorry to resurrect this thread. But I've been devouring some Chomp Chomp these last two weeks, if you haven't had there buffalo Chicken(for me it was tofu), you don't know what your missing. There Chinois Tacos are the bomb too!!! Looks like they put in an A/C unit so now if you can find a spot inside it's a bit more comfortable.
I agree. I have been there several times over the past 2 weeks, and everything that I have eaten has been good (and pretty cheap too, $7!).
I have to chime in on this thread as well. If you haven't been to Chomp Chomp your doing yourself a disservice, the food has been great every time I've gone there. It's one of my favorite lunch spots to go to when I'm downtown.

+1
I wish I could bring Chomp Chomp and Picasso's to Charlotte with me.
We have some good spots up here but not those too.

If it's the same Picasso's in Mandarin - I picked up a couple Pizzas about 2 months ago when I was over that way.
They were delicious, and they had some unique topping choices.

^ Not to mention Picasso's has some GREAT NY cheesecake. I drive out there specifically for that at times.
I don't know how I missed this thread, but I have been going to Chomp since late last year. For a while my regular Friday night routine was a beer at Burro, or 2 or 3, then head down to Chomp with a beer or have them bring it back to Burro for me. Maybe run down to Burrito Gallery for a shot or two, hang with some friends on the conrer, end the night at Poppy Love Smoke for a cocktail or two, and they had some great ones. I called it my Adams Street District. Until Poppy closed, it kind of had it all, at least for me. A lot of potential on that strip.
