This property was put out to bid with demo contractors this morning. Another Ionia street property will be gone soon. This is not on the list of at risk properties we put out. This is an addition

How many will this make for Ionia all together now in the past several years? How many houses out of the original number built are still standing on that street now? The last time I drove down there it was already nothing but vacant lots. If there was a street in the whole place that couldn't afford a single additional demo, it's Ionia. There's already nothing left. Now this adds yet another to what's already on the HPC's list. Does COJ have some secret plan for this street? Like a Gulliver's Travels-sized bowling alley maybe?

50% (I can pull the specific data/addresses when I get home) have been lost on Ionia.  The only blocks with houses are b/w 5th/6th and 2nd/3rd.  Most of the rest is vacant lots.  Ionia is not loved, well, except for a few like me.
