Gibson won with 62% of the votes. For the story:

Does anyone know anything about Andrea Austin?

Well, I know she doesn't stand a chance of winning.

I was with Leandrew Mills III last night when he congratulated her. She was a nice lady when I talked to her.

This is all I found:
The only competition in the Oct. 18 general election is write-in candidate Andrea Austin of Jacksonville, who's done no fundraising or campaigning for the seat.

More than likely Gibson will ask her to withdraw to save the taxpayers from having to pony up for a meaningless election. Either way there's no chance anyone but Gibson will be in that seat.
Who asked Mrs. Austin to get INTO the race as a write-in in the first place? It is naive to think at least one of the Dems did not "suggest" she enter the race to close it to R's, I's, and NPA's (and etc.).
If Mrs. Austin withdraws fairly soon, we can avoid a General Election, according to SOE Jerry Holland.
Oh, and the R's do it, too, it is just the Dems turn this time.
