These two plaques are on the small brick church on the corner of Margaret St & Gilmore St. There are a lot of famous and recognizable names who have made important contributions to our City here.

SO cool! Is that Mount Olive? Is it still operating?
We don't give nearly enough credit to the influence our thriving Arab American community has had in Jacksonville. This likely has a lot to do with the fact that they are so well integrated that their contributions to our region's culture, cuisine, and government are second nature.
Metrojacksonville should definitely do an article on the Jacksonville Arabs. There'd be no shortage of interesting and influential people to talk to!
No it is not operating as a Presbyterian church. It has changed hands a number of times over the years and the last few congregations there have rented it from the current owner.
It is looking a bit sad and neglected right now.
Tacachale, I couldn't agree more.
