I believe it was in Orange Park at the theaters near 295 that have been torn down now.  I remember when I first saw an ad for Star Wars. I was eight and I think it was the first movie I was obsessed with seeing.

Star Wars didn't make any impression on me when it came out in 1977.  But a few years later I bought the comic book from my school's book fair.  So the first Star Wars movie I saw was The Empire Strikes Back (theater in Orange Park Mall).  I later saw Star Wars for the first (and only time) in a theater at the theater in the mall on Arlington Expressway where Publix used to be.  I remember that the theater there had 2 auditoriums with full size screens.  But now a movie theater expects you to watch a movie on a screen that is little more than an overgrown TV.
