I couldn't make the first two for various reasons, but I am looking forward to this. I will be able to walk over to pick up the trolley at Jacksons, and then stumble home from the Rogue.
It's the most wonderful time of the month!
We will also be bringing in food trucks for this crawl, but that does not mean you shouldn't eat dinner before hand. Once we get firm commitments they will be officially announced, but we hope to have 2 different trucks throughout the course of the night.
How is it that the pub crawl is able to effectively coordinate multiple trolley routes with JTA, utilize transient vendors effectively, incorporate multiple core neighborhoods, and bring vibrancy DT, but the city can't?? From this point forth I am going to refer to the pub crawl organizers as the JEDC.

Good one. Just goes to show you don't have to wait on public entities or others to do things they get paid to do, but most likely don't understand how to effectively pull them off. If you want change, get off the couch, get involved and make it happen!
...and let us know you're coming (and invite all your friends) on the Facebook Event: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=242789059095377
Where do you intend to put food carts?

Nothing is set in stone... but one would potentially be San Marco and the other in Riverside. They would comply with the city's regulations regarding transient vendors. etc.

+1
The Loft was having the Mossfire food bus in the alley which was clearly illegal so just making sure that won't happen again.
Don't forget, this Friday is the Pub Crawl. San Marco, Riverside and Downtown. Metrojacksonville.com/pubcrawl.
maybe it can be a hurricane party :)
Hurricane parties are the best.....

As of right now, it looks like we'll be seeing less of an effect from the hurricane.
So get your tickets now, don't be stuck home when the weather turns out to be not so bad and think 'geeze watching CSI re-runs sure does suck'!
I will be there to drink with you. I also have a couple other people coming with me. I wasn't ablet to make the last two, so I am looking forward to this.
Hurricane pub crawl? I'm down. See y'all tomorrow night!

We're going to try to crawl rain or shine, so come out regardless. If it gets bad enough, we'll just switch to water taxis and drive them down Riverside Ave! (ok, not really, but it's a nice idea)
Crawl baby! My ticket is punched now - it's going to be a GREAT time tomorrow.
According to meterologist extraordinaire (and JU grad) Rebecca Barry, we should have cool temps and little chance of rain for tonight's pub crawl. I tend to trust beautiful women, and she's definately in that category.
Point is, we're going to have the best possible scenario for weather tonight... temps in the mid to low 70's... I can assure you, we haven't had temps that low for the last two events.
Tickets are available now for $10 www.metrojacksonville.com/pubcrawl (http://www.metrojacksonville.com/pubcrawl). If you're on the fence and wait to see what the weather is like... it's going to cost you b/c tickets at the door are $15.

...which is still a steal! Seriously, this is gonna be a fun one!
My tickets are bought. Let the countdown begin, 10 hours until the first stop at Square One!
I have been fielding a lot of emails and phone calls this morning... JACKSONS Grill on King Street is the Riverside check in location b/w 630 and 700 pm. The trolley will be leaving shortly after 7pm.
You are welcome to go to Walkers sometime before 630 pm tonight, but the trolley will NOT BE AT WALKERS. The trolley is picking up people at Jacksons. Jacksons will be running happy hour prices, 2-for-1, during the check in time.
I must say, this will be a really fun group coming tonight. I'm really looking forward to this one!!
Don't be stuck at home watching Jersey Shore or Tavis Smiley re-runs while everyone else is getting in on the action... and there's definately action to be had, if you know what I mean.
but Tavis Smiley is cool!
The weather cast is starting to look even better for tonight. Other than some showers between 8-9, it should be a clear night.
4 hours until my first beer at Jacksons. I can already taste it.
I purchased a ticket for someone else, so if someone claims to be me - it's ok - I won't be able to make it tonight.
First you Crawl then you paddle. Heading to the Crawl anyone want to see Hogans Creek in the am let me know.
I had such an awesome time last night. If you have yet to do one these, don't miss another. The people crawling are great, the venues involved take good care of you, and for two drinks, cover, and transportation, $10 is a steal.
I would also like to say thanks to the people putting this together. They really do a lot of work to get this done. I don't know everyone involved so I am sure to leave people off, but I saw first hand the work being put in by StephenDare, Steve, FieldAM, and Captain Zissou. They all do a lot in getting this arranged and keeping it going smoothly throughout the night.
Sorry I could only catch up at the end.
Are there going to be pictures posted from this one?
