Hey all,
I've been a frequent visitor of the blog for several years and I'm looking for some help locating an old article. My memory is a bit fuzzy but I believe it was a about a neighborhood that was going through a revitalization effort, but what stood out was the unique design of the buildings in that neighborhood. If I remember correctly, one of the buildings was 2 stories, yellow with ivy growing up the side of it. Another of the buildings in the strip had a Mediterranean look about it. The strip of buildings was maybe a block or two in length. I thought it was in the Talleyrand area but after driving through there this morning and searching the blog for a few hours this evening, I'm thinking I'm wrong about that. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Do you remember the year or month the story came out?
Brooklyn?
Lake - It was definitely prior to 2011, but it might have been as far back as '09. Short of navigating the RSS feed, is there a way to scroll through the article archive chronologically?
Billy - I was thinking it might be Brooklyn too, but I've been through most of the articles I could find and can't match any of the photos.
I think you may be describing the Springfield warehouse district off 14th & Main. You can find the article on page 15 of the "Neighborhoods" section.
